Located in the historic city of Bath, The Windsor occupies a Grade 1 Listed building on Great Pulteney Street, reputed to be one of the finest Georgian Boulevards in Europe.
Its central location makes it an ideal place to explore this World Heritage city on foot, ideally situated for visiting the Roman Baths, exploring the Abbey, relaxing in the Thermae Bath Spa or discovering the streets walked by Jane Austen. Bath is full of museums and shops, with an excellent range of restaurants just minutes from the door, and the bus and railway stations are both within easy walking distance.
The Windsor has 10 uniquely styled and furnished bedrooms, which are fully en-suite and all are non-smoking. Each room has a colour TV, direct dial telephone, in-room safe, hospitality tray, hairdryer, shaver point, air conditioning and broadband Internet access. A full English or Continental breakfast is served in the lounge and is included in the price of the room.

Exciting changes….
From 9th August, The Windsor will convert from a small hotel to an elegant guest house, providing a welcome retreat for the weary traveller. Recognising that most visitors to the city spend the majority of their time exploring the sights and sounds, the new owners want their guests to feel relaxed and at home, offering an unobtrusive but friendly service.
Bath has a fantastic range of restaurants, many of which are just minutes away so whilst there is no longer a restaurant on the premises, we would be delighted to help you make the most of this opportunity by recommending the best dining venues for both local and international cuisine.
For those guests here on business, all rooms have broadband Internet access and direct-dial telephones. We also have a small photocopier and fax machine, and would be happy to make enquiries with local agencies for more expansive secretarial services.
As before, a free on-street parking permit is available (one per room) for guests driving to Bath but as the guest house is located in the heart of the city, there is minimal need for a car during your stay.
