The Crescent Room
Removal
of the false ceilings during the renovation of the Crescent room showed
that the piping and wiring had been cut through the original ceilings and
cornice. All of which had to be replaced. Pictures also show the building
of the pod bathroom, specially approved by Listed Buildings, allowing the
splendors of the high ceilings to remain. The original ceiling rose was
also found under the false ceiling
